Against the cancellation of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's membership of Parliament, the Congress has announced the Save the Constitution movement from Monday. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh told that agitations will be held from block, tehsil, district level to the capital. He said- Rahul Gandhi was targeted for raising his voice against the Adani scam.

On February 7, Rahul had given a speech in Parliament on the Adani issue. The hearing started in the Surat court on 27 February and the sentence was announced on 23 March. He told that committees will be formed to hand over the responsibility of the movement. This decision was taken in a meeting held at the Congress headquarters on Friday evening. Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot were present in the meeting.

After the meeting, Priyanka Gandhi said- We have the blood of martyrs in our veins, which has been shed for this country. We are not afraid to battle fiercely. Rahul Gandhi called the Adani-Modi alliance into doubt. The administration is refusing to respond. This query has resulted in action against Rahul.

In favour of Rahul Gandhi, the party has launched a social media campaign called "Daro Mat."It was also posted on the party's Twitter page. Workers in the party are spreading it. This phrase is also widely displayed on banners and signs at the party's rallies.
